Job Description: Data Modeler with AWS (Data Engineering) & Aerospace Background
We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with expertise in AWS Data Engineering and a background in the Aerospace industry. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling principles, data governance, and cloud-based data services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptual, logical, physical data modeling
- Profile and analyze existing data, including lineage, quality, and reuse
- Collaborate with stakeholders on business rules, KPIs, and consumption needs
- Document data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata
- Implement data governance for certified products
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, etc.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases including Redshift, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, and compliance
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Expertise in AWS data services, particularly Redshift, Glue, and S3, with a strong emphasis on Redshift
- Additional Information:
- This is a remote position.
- Experience with Aerospace industry is highly preferred.
