Job Description: Test Automation Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Architect to join our team for a remote position. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Software Testing and QA Architecture, with expertise in test strategy, planning, and governance. This role requires hands-on experience with various automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and performance testing tools. Telecom domain experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on test automation best practices.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through effective testing methodologies.
  • Automate API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Test Automation

  • Strong experience in Software Testing and QA Architecture.
  • Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Governance.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Python, BDD Frameworks, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, SOAP) using Postman and RestAssured.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Telecom domain experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
