Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of robust and scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain scripting for automation tasks (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security best practices are implemented across the infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for incident response.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Must have a LinkedIn profile created on or before 2019.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year
