Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality of our software products. This is an onsite, 12+ month contract position located in Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced test suites using object-oriented methodologies.
  • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms and languages to improve overall quality and test code coverage.
  • Perform both functional and automation testing.
  • Write backend integration tests and tests for RESTful APIs.
  • Develop frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python.
  • Design and develop integration, regression, and stress tests using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test suites.
  • Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.

Technical Requirements:

  • Tech Stack: Python; JavaScript
  • Frameworks: Playwright; Selenium; PyTest
  • Architecture: REST APIs
  • Databases: MySQL
  • Core Skillset: Python, Selenium and/or Playwright, UI + API testing, SQL

Experience Expectations:

  • 5+ years of experience (5-10 years preferred) in QA Automation.

Additional Information:

  • This is an onsite position in Fremont, CA.
  • The role is a 12+ month contract.
  • Candidates must be GC/USC/H4/L2-EAD.
  • A final in-person interview is required.
  • Candidates must pass an online assessment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)

Location: Fremont, CA
