Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer
Qualis1 Inc is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with over 10 years of experience for a remote position. This role requires extensive experience in the Azure environment, including Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks Delta, Pyspark, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL migration, specifically moving DataStage jobs to the Azure environment. Experience with reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau is essential, as is hands-on expertise in Unix and Linux scripting. The role also requires good knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake. Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD) is a plus, and a Databricks certification is highly desirable. A strong understanding of the Healthcare industry and SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management are also key requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure.
- Migrate DataStage ETL jobs to the Azure environment.
- Utilize Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, and Data Bricks Delta for data processing.
- Implement data solutions using Pyspark, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake.
- Develop and maintain reports using Power BI and Tableau.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Azure environment: Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks Delta, Pyspark, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake.
- Experience in ETL migration (DataStage to Azure).
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools: Power BI and Tableau.
- Expertise in Unix and Linux scripting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
- Experience in the Healthcare industry.
- Strong SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good to have a Databricks certification.
