Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our team in Issaquah, WA. This is a contract position requiring local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, TypeScript, and Postman.
- Define and execute the testing strategy to validate new or enhanced functionality.
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with development team members to identify candidates for test case automation.
- Decompose functional and non-functional requirements into test scripts and scenarios.
- Develop functional test plans for complex systems.
- Design and develop high-quality test automation frameworks.
- Work with engineers to identify code deficiencies and improve overall code quality.
- Implement API Level Automation using various technologies and tools.
- Develop complex SQL queries against various data sources.
- Leverage and implement data pipelines to ensure data reliability and accessibility.
- Analyze, identify, and validate functional aspects of shared services supporting multiple applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in QA.
- Identify and utilize test tools and processes to monitor, maintain, and report defects.
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in QA.
- 5+ years of experience with Playwright.
- 4+ years of experience in API Testing.
- Experience with Automation testing using Playwright, TypeScript, Postman.
- Experience working with architects, developers, and QA across multiple teams.
- Proficient with Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- 2+ years of experience with back-end testing, writing SQL queries, and testing stored procedures.
- 3-5 years of current and demonstrable software quality assurance hands-on experience (front-end and back-end testing).
- 3-5 years of experience with Azure SQL and/or Transact-SQL.
Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications Required:

- Experience with Automation testing using Playwright, TypeScript, Postman.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
- 2+ years experience with back-end testing writing SQL queries and testing stored procedures.
This role requires local profiles to Issaquah, WA. No relocation candidates will be considered.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
