Job Description: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electronics systems integration and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with test equipment and electronic module programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex electronics systems integration and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize test equipment including Oscilloscope, multi-meter, protocol analyzers, and various power supplies.
  • Program electronic modules as required.
  • Design and build harnesses according to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Ensure proper electronics wire routings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Document all design and testing procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status and technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems and components.
  • Develop and implement test plans for electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities.
  • Assist in the development of new products and technologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Support manufacturing and production teams with electrical engineering expertise.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.
  • Engage in problem-solving activities to overcome technical challenges.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities.
  • Apply engineering principles to solve practical problems.

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years of experience with electronics systems integration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as Oscilloscope, multi-meter, protocol analyzers, and various power supplies.
  • Experience with electronic modules programming.
  • Experience with CAD/Circuit design.
  • Knowledgeable in building and testing harnesses according to IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Understanding of electronics wire routings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50,000 – $120,000 per year

Location: Mendon, UT
