Role Overview: AEM Authoring Specialist (2026 Digital Ecosystem)

You will be responsible for the hands-on execution, validation, and maintenance of content using the latest iterations of AEM, ensuring that every digital touchpoint reflects the brand’s excellence.

Core Responsibilities and Strategic Impact

  • Advanced Content Orchestration: Execute and maintain complex web content structures using AEM Sites and Assets. You will manage the lifecycle of digital content from initial authoring to global publishing.
  • Multilingual Workflow Management: Oversee the submission and validation of content for localization, ensuring that regional nuances are preserved while maintaining global brand consistency across dozens of languages.
  • Quality Assurance & Cross-Device Validation: Perform rigorous QA testing across a myriad of modern browsers and devices, including foldable screens and AR-integrated interfaces, to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve component-level issues, layout discrepancies, and publishing errors within the CMS environment.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks in the authoring workflow and implement streamlined solutions to improve speed-to-market for marketing campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between Marketing, Localization, and IT departments to translate business requirements into functional web experiences.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • AEM Expertise: 3-5 years of deep, hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including familiarity with Touch UI, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
  • Web Fundamentals: A solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is essential for troubleshooting layout issues and understanding component behavior.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Proficiency in managing high-resolution assets, metadata schemas, and smart tagging within the AEM DAM.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working within sprint-based cycles and utilizing project management tools like Jira or Asana to track progress and issues.
  • Attention to Detail: An uncompromising eye for detail, ensuring that typography, imagery, and functional elements meet the highest standards of quality.
