Role Overview: AEM Functional Analyst
GAC Solution Inc. is looking for a highly experienced AEM Functional Analyst to join our digital experience team in New York, NY. This hybrid role is designed for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), capable of driving solution design and aligning business needs with technical capabilities. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that digital solutions meet the high standards of our premier clients in the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional solutioning efforts for AEM implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals and UX standards.
- Collaborate with architects and UX teams to design scalable and maintainable AEM solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on AEM best practices, including content modeling, workflows, and personalization strategies.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements or new features within the AEM ecosystem.
- Create wireframes, process flows, and functional design documents to support the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to refine requirements and validate solutions.
- Work closely with AEM developers to ensure functional requirements are accurately implemented during the build phase.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and assisting business users.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in IT with at least 4-5 years specifically in AEM functional or business analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of AEM capabilities, including Sites, Assets, Workflows, Templates, and Integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service implementations.
- Proven experience within the insurance domain (Life, Health, or Property & Casualty).
- Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead solutioning discussions and guide cross-functional teams toward successful delivery.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Adobe Certified Expert – Business Practitioner or other relevant AEM certifications.
- Familiarity with AEM integrations such as CRM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and other marketing platforms.
- Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and UX collaboration.
- Deep knowledge of web content management (WCM) and digital experience best practices.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
