Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated AI Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a fully remote position where you will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions that will significantly enhance our products and services. You will collaborate closely with diverse, cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities where AI and machine learning can be leveraged across various applications, driving efficiency and creating new possibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy sophisticated AI models and algorithms tailored to solve complex business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to meticulously gather, clean, and preprocess data essential for robust model training.
- Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms, including deep learning techniques and natural language processing (NLP) models.
- Leverage strong programming skills in languages such as Python and Typescript, and potentially Amazon Build Tool (ABT).
- Gain practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
- Conduct thorough research and stay abreast of the latest advancements and emerging trends in the fields of AI and machine learning to continuously contribute to innovative solutions.
- Work closely with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and define clear project scopes for AI-driven initiatives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models, algorithms, and processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug AI systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the overall AI strategy and roadmap of the organization.
- Present findings and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure ethical considerations and data privacy are integrated into AI solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in AI development.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge within the team.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI models.
- Explore and implement new AI frameworks and libraries as needed.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and effectiveness of AI features.
- Contribute to the development of AI-powered features for new and existing products.
- Analyze model performance metrics and iterate on models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in an AI engineering role or through significant relevant projects, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python or Java, coupled with hands-on experience using major AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques and natural language processing (NLP) is highly valued.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is preferred) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clear articulation of complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 per year
