Role Overview: Senior AI Engineer
Blue Rose Technologies LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Engineer for a critical 12-month engagement with a premier client in San Francisco, CA. This role is designed for a technical leader with over a decade of experience in the field, specifically focused on the productionization of machine learning systems. Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale machine learning systems, focusing on ranking models and recommendation engines.
- Architect and maintain cloud-based ML pipelines using modern frameworks and API designs to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct rigorous model evaluation and experiment design to continuously improve system performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical AI requirements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing clear technical direction and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
- Optimize machine learning models for production, ensuring low latency and high throughput for real-time applications.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on AI and Machine Learning.
- Proven track record of building and operating ML systems in production environments at scale.
- Deep expertise in Python and distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure ML) and model-serving frameworks.
- Strong mathematical foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra as applied to machine learning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ranking models, recommendation systems, and large-scale data processing is highly preferred.
