Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Lead/Developer with expertise in .NET, AI, and Python for a 100% remote position targeting candidates in Texas. This role involves developing, testing, and deploying cloud-native and AI-enabled enterprise applications end-to-end. You will engage directly with customers, build scalable microservices, and design AI-driven automation and LLM-integrated features. The position requires strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI frameworks like LangChain and Azure OpenAI Service. This is a full-time role with a two-round video interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy cloud-native and AI-enabled enterprise applications end to end.
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify technical constraints, and present solution approaches.
- Build scalable microservices-based backend systems using C# / .NET Core and Python.
- Design and implement AI-driven automation, agentic workflows, and LLM-integrated features within applications.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, cloud service integrations, and enterprise connectors.
- Own DevOps workflows including CI/CD pipelines, containerized builds, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in design discussions, code reviews, and solution workshops.
- Proactively communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Experience & Skills
- Technical Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# / .NET Core for backend service development.
- Strong working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, and AI integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end applications.
- Proven experience building microservices and distributed systems in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including application hosting, storage, messaging, and CI/CD automation.
- Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployments.
- AI & Intelligent Automation:
- Strong hands-on experience with LangChain and Semantic Kernel for building LLM-powered applications.
- Strong proficiency in Azure AI Services, including Azure OpenAI Service and Cognitive Services.
- Good knowledge of Azure AI Search as a vector store for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI orchestration patterns.
- Additional Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in data modeling, query optimization, and selecting appropriate storage patterns. Proficiency in SQL Server, with working knowledge of CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Azure Entra ID, and API security best practices for enterprise applications.
- Good knowledge of application logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Application Insights or similar tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep is a value add.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with clients, handling queries, and building trust through responsiveness and reliability.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75 – $95 per year
