Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on AI/ML Architect to design and scale Databricks Lakehouse solutions on AWS. If you enjoy working with multi-terabyte datasets, building high-performance pipelines, and leading end-to-end ML systems, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Architect scalable lakehouse platforms (Delta Lake + S3 + Unity Catalog)
- Build & deploy ML models using Databricks, PySpark, MLflow
- Optimize large-scale pipelines (partitioning, caching, Spark tuning)
- Design low-latency data & API solutions beyond Spark
- Lead from the front player/coach mindset
Must Have
- 10+ years in Data/ML Engineering or Architecture
- Deep expertise in Databricks on AWS
- Strong Python, PySpark, ML, and distributed systems knowledge
- Experience with large-scale (multi-TB) data processing
Special Requirements
Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA or NYC; 3 months C2H then FullTime
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
