About the Role:
This is a critical role for a company operating within the financial sector, requiring a deep understanding of AI and ML principles applied to real-world business problems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions that drive innovation and efficiency. Your work will involve leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build intelligent systems, optimize processes, and extract valuable insights from data. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python.
- Integrate LLMs into existing or new applications.
- Build and maintain APIs using FAST API for ML model serving.
- Implement data pipelines and messaging systems using Kafka.
- Ensure seamless integration of ML models via REST APIs.
- Utilize GitHub and Copilot for efficient code development and version control.
- Implement and experiment with Agentic AI concepts.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML model deployment and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Demonstrated experience with LLM integration.
- Proficiency in FAST API and Kafka.
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Familiarity with GitHub and software development best practices.
- Understanding of Agentic AI principles.
- Experience in the financial domain is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Java/Angular and Cloud ML platforms is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a C2C contract role. Candidates must be local to Alpharitta, GA, or willing to work remotely. Only consultants with proven financial domain experience will be considered.
