Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in building AI-driven agentic solutions and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent workflows to support automation and decision-making while ensuring governance, security, and cost efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- 14+ years of overall IT experience
- 4+ years in AI/ML engineering or advanced data science
- Strong experience in building autonomous agents & agentic workflows
- Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
- Expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGPT
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure AI)
- Experience integrating LLMs via APIs
- Knowledge of AI governance, model lifecycle, and evaluation
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Strong understanding of AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety controls
- Knowledge of data privacy (PII/PHI handling)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multi-agent systems
- Optimization of LLM cost, token usage, and performance
- Familiarity with enterprise AI deployment and scalability
Important Notes:
- Only candidates LOCAL TO AUSTIN (within 50 miles radius)
- Must have Active Texas Drivers License & LinkedIn ID
- Hybrid role (Onsite + Telework)
- Must be open for In-person interview
- Public sector (State/Federal/Local Govt.) experience preferred

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
