Opportunity: AI Product Manager (Hybrid – Charlotte, NC)
GreatTech Global is seeking a visionary AI Product Manager to lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions for our client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month C2C engagement designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of product strategy and advanced machine learning engineering. In the rapidly evolving landscape of 2026, this role focuses on leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic AI systems to drive transformative business outcomes. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring a presence in Charlotte, North Carolina, to facilitate high-impact collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams.
Core Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Define and execute the product roadmap for AI/ML platforms, focusing on GenAI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and autonomous agent orchestration.
- Lead technical workshops and internal enablement programs to onboard developers and stakeholders onto new AI frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate LLM-powered workflows into production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Oversee MLOps and LLMOps practices, including model registries, CI/CD pipelines, evaluation guardrails, and continuous monitoring.
- Distill complex technical topics into clear playbooks, documentation, and learning materials for diverse audiences ranging from executives to developers.
- Identify user needs and advocate for product improvements through deep customer empathy and a bias toward execution.
- Manage the product lifecycle using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow to ensure transparent and efficient delivery.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain/LangGraph to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Technical Expertise and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in AI solutions, AI consulting, or technical product ownership for AI/ML platforms.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, enabling deep technical engagement with engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience developing or deploying agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with major cloud infrastructure providers, specifically Azure, AWS, and GCP, in the context of AI/ML deployment.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with vector databases and related frameworks for building sophisticated AI applications.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in ambiguous, fast-changing environments typical of the AI sector.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
