Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Alteryx Developer to join our team in Sandy Springs, GA. This is an onsite position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining data workflows and automation processes using Alteryx Designer. You will play a key role in building ETL pipelines, integrating data from various sources, and transforming it for analytical use. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Alteryx, SQL, data warehousing concepts, and experience with BI tools. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Alteryx solutions.
Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain data workflows and automation processes using Alteryx Designer to support business analytics and reporting requirements.
- Build ETL pipelines to extract data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms, and transform it for analytical use.
- Develop and optimize data preparation, cleansing, and transformation logic using Alteryx tools such as Join, Union, Filter, Formula, and Multi-Row tools.
- Integrate Alteryx workflows with data warehouses and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for downstream reporting and visualization.
- Work with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery) to query, validate, and process large datasets.
- Design reusable Alteryx macros and analytic apps to standardize common data processing tasks across teams.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance by implementing checks, error handling, and audit mechanisms within workflows.
- Optimize workflow performance by improving data processing efficiency and reducing run times for large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Alteryx solutions.
- Maintain documentation for workflow logic, data lineage, and process automation, and support deployment using Alteryx Server or Scheduler.

Compensation & Location
