Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Work with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, backend) to define and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Perform unit testing, resolve bugs, and optimize app performance.
- Integrate with outside data sources, APIs, and SDKs.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android design principles.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Mobile automation experience; scripting in Python or NodeJS.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Android performance monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools.
Desirable Skills
- 8-10 years of overall Android development experience.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
