Role Description:

  • App Development Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, backend) to define and ship new features.
  • Technical Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, resolve bugs, and optimize app performance to ensure quality.
  • API Integration: Work with outside data sources, APIs, and SDKs.
  • Maintenance: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Languages: Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Tools/Frameworks: Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android design principles.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.

Common Qualifications:

  • Experience with Android performance monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Scripting language – Python or NodeJS
  • Mobile automation experience

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
