Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Android QA Engineer with experience in AAOS (Android Automotive OS) and Projection Systems. This is a contract role that can be performed remotely or from our DC location. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android OS, Java/Kotlin, and experience with testing tools and methodologies.
Essential Skills:
- AAOS/Android Experience: Strong familiarity with Android OS, Java, Kotlin, and preferably Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Testing Skills: Experience with API test automation and UI automation, strong debugging skills, and knowledge of HTTP protocols.
Technical Skills:
- Digital: DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Programming: Kotlin, Core Java
- Mobile: Mobile Computing – Android
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Android applications, focusing on AAOS and projection systems.
- Perform API and UI automation testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and testing.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across various Android devices and platforms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
