Position Summary: Angular UI Lead / Development Manager
We are looking for a dynamic Angular UI Lead and Development Manager to spearhead a major migration and modernization project in Miami, FL. This is a hybrid role requiring three days onsite per week. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical lead and resource manager for a high-impact project transitioning legacy systems to modern industry standards. This role is approximately 50% technical leadership focused on Angular/UI migration and 50% management of non-technical portfolio activities.
Technical Leadership and Migration Strategy
- Modernization: Lead the significant rewrite and rearchitecture of an outdated Angular 6 and .Net application to current industry standards.
- Hands-on Expertise: While the role transitions into management, the candidate must remain highly conversant with the tech stack and capable of making high-level architectural recommendations.
- UI/UX Standards: Ensure the new architecture follows modern UI/UX best practices and provides a scalable foundation for future growth.
- Technical Assessment: Evaluate existing systems and provide strategic roadmaps for upgrades and modernization efforts.
Management and Portfolio Responsibilities
- Resource Management: Act as the supervisor for technical teams, initially leading one Scrum POD with the potential to oversee multiple teams over time.
- Project Management: Serve as the “face, eyes, and ears” of the migration project, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and milestones are met.
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage non-technical activities, including resource allocation, timeline management, and portfolio reporting.
- Stakeholder Communication: Bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives, providing clear updates to executive leadership.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $220,000 per year (Estimated)
