Job Description:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Apache NiFi Consultant to design and manage scalable data pipelines and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Apache NiFi, ETL/ELT processes, and big data technologies along with solid programming skills in Java.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop real-time and batch data pipelines using Apache NiFi.
- Build and configure ETL/ELT data workflows for large-scale data processing.
- Develop custom NiFi processors and scripts for specialized data transformations.
- Monitor and optimize data flows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Integrate data from databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production NiFi environments.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance during data integration.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi (designing, managing, and maintaining data flows).
- Proficiency in Java for custom scripting and processor development.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and SQL.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
