Position: API QA with AWS cloud / Guidewire
This role requires a strong background in API testing and cloud technologies, specifically AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience within the insurance industry, particularly with Guidewire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Quality Architect and Centre of Excellence for test automation, performance testing, environment management, and Test Data Management (TDM) implementation.
- Work across teams within the organization to ensure Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) adhere to best practices, defined Test Services standards, and are aligned with the Client’s standards and methodology.
- Collaborate with Business Relationship Manager, IT Delivery Leader, Tech Solutions Analyst, QA Architects, IT Architects, UAT, and stakeholders to support and define business priorities, expectations, and customer needs.
- Participate in Workstream Delivery Ceremonies and Communities of Practices to leverage knowledge, enhance organizational/team productivity, and effectiveness.
- Lead and actively participate in test design reviews, aligning teams across your Workstream towards coherent architectural strategies.
- Bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
- Each Test Lead is responsible for reviewing technical designs, code, and tests.
Required Skills:
- Strong API testing skills.
- Strong experience in testing AWS components.
- Insurance Experience is a must.
- Experience with Guidewire is highly preferred.
Additional Information:
This is a remote position. The candidate will be expected to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the quality and effectiveness of software development and testing processes.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
