Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced APIGEE Consultant for an urgent, long-term (12+ months) onsite role in New York City, NY. This position requires a candidate who can start on Day 1 and work 5 days a week at the client’s location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in APIGEE and integration, with excellent communication skills, as they will be deployed in a business-facing capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement API solutions using Apigee.
- Manage and maintain API gateways and related infrastructure.
- Integrate various systems and applications using API technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance and functionality.
- Ensure the security and scalability of API deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
- Proven, extensive experience with Apigee.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a business-facing role.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in New York, NY, starting Day 1.
- Experience with API security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.
Additional Information:
- This is a Day 1 Onsite position requiring full-time commitment at the New York, NY location.
- The contract duration is expected to be 12+ months.
- Candidates must be local to the NYC area or willing to relocate immediately.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
