Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Appian BPM Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing Appian and web-based applications, building critical Appian-based applications, and integrating them with other COTS products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Appian BPM, Java, and web services, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Appian and web-based applications.
- Build critical Appian-based applications and associated integration components using Java.
- Develop applications using Appian Business Process Management (BPM) and integrate them with other COTS products.
- Work closely with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs, including mapping and loading data from source systems into the data warehouse.
- Understand and apply the differences between REST and SOAP, including core design principles for integrating web services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to mid-level developers as needed.
- Estimate and size Appian business requirements accurately.
- Debug and resolve issues in interfaces and process models.
- Act as a problem solver, identifying root causes and proposing effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document technical designs and solutions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience developing and implementing Appian applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java-based integration components.
- Solid understanding of REST and SOAP web services and integration principles.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Knowledge of data mapping and integration with data warehouse systems.
- Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot Appian interfaces and process models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide mid-level developers.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $54 – $54 per hour
