Job Description: Appian Developer

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with strong expertise in Appian BPM development to design, build, and support scalable business process applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Appian applications, including process models, user interfaces, records, reports, and sites.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement integrations with external systems using Appian plug-ins, web services (SOAP/REST), and APIs.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to Appian development best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing and support system and integration testing activities.
  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
  • Maintain documentation for application design, configuration, and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Appian BPM development (Appian 21.x or later preferred).
  • Proficiency in Appian components, including SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Sites.
  • Experience with Appian plug-ins and integration capabilities.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)

Location: Hartford, CT
