Position Summary
Tanisha Systems Inc. is looking for a talented Application Developer and Azure Data Engineer to join our team for a high-impact onsite role in Jersey City, NJ. This position is centered on the Microsoft Cloud platform, specifically focusing on the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Azure Data solutions. As the data landscape evolves toward 2026, we are looking for a professional who can bridge the gap between traditional data engineering and the emerging world of Generative AI and integrated data fabrics. You will be working with some of the world’s leading organizations, including IBM, Cap Gemini, and Cognizant, to deliver cutting-edge IT services.
Technical Stack and Data Engineering
The core of this role involves creating and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines and storage solutions. You must possess expert-level knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Databricks. Your experience should extend to Azure SQL Server and Synapse Analytics. A key differentiator for this role is experience with Microsoft Fabric and Purview, as we move toward more unified and governed data environments. You will be responsible for data processing and integration tasks that power the analytics engines of our global clients. Proficiency in programming is essential; you should be highly skilled in at least one of the following: Python, TSQL, Java, R, or Scala. These languages will be used to build the logic that drives our data transformations and AI integrations.
AI Integration and Modern DevOps
In line with current industry trends, this role requires a strong understanding of OpenAI and General AI (GenAI) services within the Azure framework. You will be tasked with integrating these AI capabilities into existing data workflows to provide predictive insights and automated data processing. Furthermore, a working knowledge of Azure DevOps is highly preferable. We follow modern software development lifecycles, and your ability to manage code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within the Azure DevOps environment will be critical to maintaining the speed and quality of our deployments. You will ensure that all data solutions are scalable, secure, and highly available.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
