Position Overview
This role is responsible for developing and supporting multiple applications within and peripheral to Oracle Financial Applications R12, specifically within the CM&T business unit. The team focuses on designing solutions to automate financial processes, handling massive data volumes and complex transactions that scale to support millions of daily entries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for automating complex financial processes within Oracle R12.
- Build high-performance, reliable solutions in a multi-tiered, distributed Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Develop RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) components using Oracle Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher.
- Perform data modeling and data analysis to ensure system performance, scalability, and availability.
- Drive requirements discussions with customers and technical teams to define software product features.
- Mentor junior software engineers and influence engineering best practices within the team.
