Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with Synon expertise for a hybrid role in Dallas, Texas. This position requires a strong background in AS/400 application development and a proven track record of successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain AS/400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, CL, and Synon2/E.
  • Write and optimize IBMi SQL queries.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AS/400 applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Experience with IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye is required.
  • Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with AS/400 application development.
  • At least 5 years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE, and CL.
  • At least 5 years of application development experience in Synon2/E (COOL 2/E).
  • 5+ years of experience with IBMi SQL.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing medium to large scope projects.
  • Proficiency in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Adept at problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems.
