Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with Synon expertise for a hybrid role in Dallas, Texas. This position offers a contract or full-time employment type. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS/400 application development, RPGLE, CL, and Synon2/E, along with experience in IBMi SQL and leadership roles. Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AS/400 applications using RPGLE, CL, and Synon2/E.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for IBMi.
- Lead development efforts on medium to large-scope projects.
- Utilize IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye for development and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the AS/400 environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with a deep understanding of AS/400 application development.
- At least 5 years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE, and CL; Synon2/E (also known as COOL 2/E).
- 5+ years of experience with IBMi SQL.
- 5+ years of recent experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully completing several medium to large scope projects.
- Proficiency in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and adept at problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding.
- Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems is highly preferred.
