Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AS400 RxClaim Production Support Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare technology team in a fully remote capacity. This critical role focuses on maintaining and optimizing the RxClaim PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) application, specifically within the adjudication domain. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of the AS400 environment and a proven track record in production support within the healthcare sector.
Technical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive production support for AS400-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance of the RxClaim system.
- Utilize Synon coding skills to maintain and enhance existing application modules.
- Perform deep-dive analysis and debugging of COBOL/400 code to resolve complex production issues.
- Manage and monitor AS400 batch jobs, ensuring timely processing and resolution of any job failures.
- Develop and optimize CLLE, CL/400, SQL/400, and QUERY/400 scripts to support data extraction and system maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of system discrepancies and implement permanent fixes.
Domain Expertise: RxClaim & Healthcare
- Apply mandatory expertise in the RxClaim PBM application, with a specific focus on the Claim Adjudication process.
- Leverage real-world experience in the Healthcare domain to ensure system logic aligns with industry regulations and business requirements.
- Understand the intricacies of pharmacy benefit structures and how they translate into technical adjudication rules.
- Support the end-to-end claim lifecycle, from submission to final adjudication and reporting.
Operational Excellence
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production environments.
- Document system changes, incident reports, and standard operating procedures to maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to provide status updates on critical issues and system performance.
- Ensure all technical solutions adhere to security and compliance standards relevant to healthcare data (HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in AS400 development and production support.
- Mandatory experience with RxClaim Application and Claim Adjudication processes.
- Proficiency in Synon, COBOL/400 (specifically AS400 COBOL, not Mainframe), and AS400 utilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance.
Special Requirements
Must have real work experience in Healthcare domain. Mandatory skills include RxClaim Application (Claim Adjudication), AS400/COBOL, and Synon.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 per year (Estimated)
