Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned ATM Business Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio, for a high-impact ATM Migration and Transformation project. This role is critical for ensuring the successful transition of ATM applications and integrations within a large-scale banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retail banking operations and the technical nuances of ATM systems. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and technical development teams. Your expertise will be used to gather requirements, analyze system impacts, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of migration initiatives. This is a contract position that requires a professional with 8 to 12 years of experience in business analysis, specifically within the financial services domain. The project aims to modernize the existing ATM fleet and enhance the customer experience through improved transaction flows and system reliability.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions for ATM migration projects, ensuring all business needs are captured accurately.
- Analyze complex transaction flows, including switching, authorization, and settlement processes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Create detailed use cases, process flows, and data mapping documents to guide technical development.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and testing teams to ensure that design and build phases align with business requirements.
- Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including the creation of test plans and the triage of identified defects.
- Ensure that all ATM systems comply with industry regulations, security standards, and internal compliance policies.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular updates on project progress and potential bottlenecks.
- Work closely with ATM vendors to understand hardware capabilities and software integration requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector.
- Extensive domain knowledge of ATM systems, including experience with vendors such as NCR, Diebold, FIS, or Fiserv.
- Hands-on experience with ATM switch platforms and transaction protocols (e.g., NDC, ISO).
- Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in onsite banking transformation programs is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with banking card operations and retail banking channels is essential for success in this role.
Project Details
The project is based in Cleveland, OH, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $55/hr CTC. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their expertise in ATM operations and provide clear documentation of their previous project successes.
