Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This onsite role is pivotal in driving our business process automation initiatives using the Microsoft Power Platform. As an Automation Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across various business units. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that automation projects are aligned with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to conduct thorough process discovery and requirements gathering sessions.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Develop comprehensive ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ process maps to visualize the impact of proposed automation solutions.
- Design and build custom Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to provide intuitive user interfaces for data entry and process management.
- Create complex Power Automate flows to orchestrate tasks across multiple systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
- Collaborate with Data Modelers and Visualization Analysts to ensure that automated processes generate high-quality data for reporting and analytics.
- Perform rigorous testing and quality assurance on all automation solutions to ensure they meet functional and security requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed automations, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams and user manuals.
- Contribute to the establishment of a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) to promote best practices and governance across the organization.
Technical Stack and Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its integration capabilities.
- Experience with Dataverse and other common data sources used in the Power Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Ability to write basic expressions in Power Automate and use Power Fx in Power Apps.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Environment and Expectations
This is an onsite position in Jacksonville, FL, requiring daily presence at our corporate office. We believe that face-to-face collaboration is essential for the success of our automation projects, allowing for rapid iteration and closer alignment with the business units we serve. Candidates must be local to the Jacksonville area or willing to relocate. The role operates in a fast-paced, Agile environment where priorities can shift quickly. Compensation & Location
Salary: $105,000 – $155,000 per year
