Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Automation Quality Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join a dynamic team. This role involves developing and implementing robust automation testing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Browser Stack, Bruno, Karate, and Cucumber.
  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Ensure code coverage of 80% or higher using code coverage tools like Sonar and Clover.
  • Write and maintain Java and Spring code for automation frameworks.
  • Work in a TDD/BDD environment, utilizing technologies such as JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, and Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks.
  • Test APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Understand and implement Continuous Delivery concepts using tools like Jenkins/Bamboo.
  • Utilize vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software testing and automation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools: Selenium, Browser Stack, Bruno, Karate, Cucumber, Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Java/Python and TestNG is a must.
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Excellent coding and analytical skills.
  • Ability to create effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts.
  • Strong development skills in Java and Spring.
  • Experience working in a TDD/BDD environment.
  • Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts and tools (Jenkins/Bamboo).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability tools (Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify).

Special Requirements

Remote position. Requires experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Must have experience with Selenium, Java/Python, TestNG, Jenkins, and TDD/BDD frameworks. Experience with API testing and CI/CD tools is essential.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
