About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our client’s team. This role requires a strong background in software testing, automation tools, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java/Python and possess excellent coding and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform software testing and automation using tools like Selenium, Browser Stach, Bruno, Karate, Cucumber, and Jenkins.
- Develop and execute test automation scripts using Java/Python and TestNG.
- Test applications leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Create acceptance and integration test automation scripts.
- Integrate automation scripts with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover) to achieve high code coverage (80%+).
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java, potentially with Spring framework.
- Work in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) environment.
- Utilize frameworks such as JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, and Jbehave/Cucumber.
- Test APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Understand Continuous Delivery concepts and use tools like Jenkins/Bamboo.
- Utilize vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively.
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of software testing and automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools: Selenium, Browser Stach, Bruno, Karate, Cucumber, Jenkins.
- Proficiency in languages: Java/Python.
- Experience with TestNG is a must.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent coding and analytical skills.
- Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts.
- Ability to integrate with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover) to ensure 80% or higher code coverage.
- Strong development skills and ability to code with Java and Spring.
- Experience working in a TDD/BDD environment.
- Ability to utilize technologies such as JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks.
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts.
- Ability to use tools including Jenkins/Bamboo and vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify, etc.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
