Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the Telecom domain. This role involves creating and executing test automation scripts, ensuring high code coverage, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, automation tools, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Karate, and Cucumber.
- Ensure 80% or higher code coverage through effective test automation.
- Integrate automation scripts with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar).
- Utilize cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for testing and deployment.
- Write good acceptance and integration test automation scripts.
- Work in a TDD/BDD environment utilizing technologies such as JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, and Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks.
- Test APIs (REST/SOAP) and understand Continuous Delivery concepts.
- Use tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of software testing and automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools: Selenium, Browser Stack, Bruno, Karate, Cucumber, Jenkins.
- Proficiency in languages: Java/Python, TestNG is a must.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent coding and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a TDD/BDD environment.
- Proficiency with JUnit, Rest Assured, Appium, Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks.
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts and tools (Jenkins/Bamboo).
- Familiarity with vulnerability tools (Sonar, Checkmarx/Fortify).
- Strong development skills and ability to code with Java and Spring.
- Experience in the Telecom domain is highly desirable.
This is an onsite contract role for approximately 6 months, located in Alpharetta, GA. Only local candidates are being considered.
Special Requirements
Onsite role, local candidates preferred. Duration: 6 months. Telecom domain experience required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
