Role Overview: Senior Automation SDET
Eversoft Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise-level software solutions through advanced automation frameworks and rigorous testing methodologies. As we move into 2026, the complexity of our distributed systems requires an engineer who can not only execute tests but also design and maintain sophisticated automation architectures that integrate seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks from scratch using Python or Java, ensuring scalability and reusability across multiple projects.
- Implement advanced testing strategies for web applications using modern tools such as Playwright, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Lead the transition from legacy testing tools to high-performance frameworks like PyTest and Rest Assured for API validation.
- Perform deep-dive API testing for both REST and SOAP web services, utilizing tools like Postman for manual verification and automated scripts for regression.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and Jenkins to facilitate continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify potential bottlenecks and architectural flaws early in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices and code quality standards.
- Analyze complex test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in the software release process.
Qualifications and Experience
- 8-10 years of professional experience in QA Automation with a strong focus on framework design and maintenance.
- Expert-level proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools including Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Rest Assured.
- Strong understanding of Web Services and API testing methodologies.
- Proven track record of working with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
