Job Title: Automation SDET QA Lead with Medicare Domain
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation SDET QA Lead with a strong background in the Medicare domain to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with the primary location being Chicago, Illinois, or Texas/Naperville.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the timely delivery of all QA deliverables, ensuring high quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs across various Medicare domains.
- Coordinate with cross-domain QE teams to align on capability test plans, define release scope, identify dependencies, and manage timelines effectively.
- Work in tandem with Test Data and Test Environment teams to ensure all technical aspects of deployment are addressed, preparing the INT environment for testing readiness.
- Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring testing is completed on time and all test artifacts are thoroughly reviewed and shared with stakeholders.
- Support various phases of testing, including functional, integrated, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Manage test cases and provide detailed reporting on execution status, timelines, and results.
- Actively participate in the defect management process, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Integrated Solution test leads to define and execute the end-to-end test strategy, ensuring alignment on timelines and objectives.
- Proactively engage with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, focusing on testability, consistency, and completeness.
- Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings, story grooming sessions, and team retrospectives, driving continuous improvement and advocating for an automation-first approach.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Medicare domain, with a focus on provider management and claims processing.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology Quality Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, agile methodologies, and robust Quality Engineering (QE) practices. Agile certification is a plus.
- Experience utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Strong proficiency in both UI and database testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL and its variations across popular databases.
- At least 1 year of experience working with Python.
- Broad knowledge of automated testing tools and modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with tools like Office 365 suite, Jira, Zephyr, or similar test and project management platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, influencing, change management, and both written and oral communication abilities. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proven ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations and manage outsourced/offshore testing arrangements effectively.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
