Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are urgently hiring two experienced Automotive Technicians to support an advanced autonomous vehicle engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a hands-on, highly technical role focused on building, integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware systems for next-generation vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, prototype, assemble, configure, and test autonomous vehicle development systems.
  • Install, integrate, and debug electrical and electronic hardware within vehicle platforms.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Maintain and update autonomous vehicle hardware systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, software, and QA teams to ensure vehicle systems operate safely and flawlessly.
  • Provide on-the-spot technical diagnosis and resolution for system concerns.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment requiring strong diagnostic ability, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical/electronics systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with vehicle systems.
  • Experience installing and maintaining autonomous vehicle hardware is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive sensor suites is highly valued.
  • Proficiency using diagnostic instruments and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday (Wed-Fri 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Sat-Sun 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • ASE or MECP certification is preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $30 – $45 per year (Estimated)
