Role: AWS API Developer
Seeking an experienced AWS API Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable API solutions within our cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will develop secure, high-performance RESTful and event-driven services using AWS technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and IAM. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Java), hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices. This position requires a problem-solver who can collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, production-ready cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure API solutions on AWS.
- Utilize AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and IAM.
- Build and maintain RESTful and event-driven services.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance and availability.
- Ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 13+ years of overall experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM).
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- AWS CDK, Kubernetes, Terraform skills are a plus.
This is a remote, long-term contract opportunity. All visa types are considered for the AWS API Developer role, while the Lead AWS API Developer role has specific preferences.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
