Job Summary:

We are looking for an AWS Architect with strong wealth management experience within the banking domain. The role involves defining modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across portfolio management, advisory workflows, trading, client digital channels, data/analytics, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Define modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across portfolio management, advisory workflows, trading, client digital channels, data/analytics, and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and maintain architectures for wealth and investment platforms, including: Portfolio management systems (PMIS), Financial planning tools, Advisory platforms & proposal engines, Order management systems (OMS), Portfolio accounting & performance systems, Investor and advisor portals.
  • Design API-first, event-driven architectures integrating market data, trading platforms, custodians, and downstream reporting systems.
  • Ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as latency, resilience, auditability, scalability, and data integrity are met.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Architect specializing in Wealth Management and Investment Platforms within banking.
  • Minimum 13-14 years of strong profile experience.
  • Experience with portfolio management systems (PMIS).
  • Experience with financial planning tools.
  • Experience with advisory platforms & proposal engines.
  • Experience with order management systems (OMS).
  • Experience with portfolio accounting & performance systems.
  • Experience with investor and advisor portals.
  • Experience designing API-first, event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of market data, trading platforms, custodians, and reporting systems integration.
  • Knowledge of NFRs like latency, resilience, auditability, and scalability.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $75 – $95 per year (Estimated)

Location: Naperville, IL
