Job Description: AWS Architect with Wealth Management Experience
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Architect with a strong background in wealth management and investment platforms within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across various critical areas.
- Role: Technical Architect specializing in Wealth Management and Investment Platforms within banking.
- Responsibilities:
- Define modern, scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across portfolio management, advisory workflows, trading, client digital channels, data/analytics, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop robust architectures for wealth and investment platforms, including:
- Portfolio Management Systems (PMIS)
- Financial Planning Tools
- Advisory Platforms & Proposal Engines
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Portfolio Accounting & Performance Systems
- Investor and Advisor Portals
- Design API-first, event-driven architectures integrating market data, trading platforms, custodians, and downstream reporting systems.
- Ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as latency, resilience, auditability, scalability, and data integrity are met.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on Wealth Management and Investment Platforms.
- Deep understanding of banking and financial services domain, particularly in wealth management.
- Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on AWS.
- Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Knowledge of various financial systems including OMS, PMIS, and advisory tools.
- Familiarity with NFRs and strategies to ensure system performance, security, and scalability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
