Position Summary
Teamware Solutions is looking for a visionary AWS Cloud Architect to join our US Division. This remote role is designed for a technical leader who can design, build, and manage sophisticated cloud foundations. While the primary focus is AWS, the ideal candidate will possess a multi-cloud mindset, particularly with Azure networking and security. You will be responsible for the architectural integrity of our cloud environments, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly available.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS and Azure foundation elements, including Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Route tables, and Virtual Networks (VNets).
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including state manipulations and Terraform Cloud integration.
- Provide expert-level on-call support for cloud services, leading incident management and troubleshooting efforts.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with enterprise applications.
- Automate repetitive tasks and infrastructure deployments using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Implement security best practices and ensure all cloud deployments comply with organizational and industry security policies.
- Stay at the forefront of cloud technology, recommending optimizations and new service adoptions to improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and represent a deep understanding of compute, storage, and data products.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS and Azure networking and security architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform (IaC) and traditional Git workflows.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Proven track record of deploying enterprise-grade workloads to the cloud.
- Knowledge of secondary cloud providers (Google Cloud, SoftLayer, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
