Position Summary: AWS Cloud Developer with AI/LLM Focus
Han IT Staffing is seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Developer with specialized expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) for an urgent, onsite requirement in Princeton, NJ. This role is designed for a developer who possesses a deep understanding of cloud engineering and a passion for building the next generation of AI-enabled applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable serverless solutions that leverage the full power of the AWS ecosystem alongside cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities. This is a Day 1 Onsite position requiring a proactive mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Core Responsibilities and Technical Execution
- Adopt a developer-first mindset with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud engineering and modern development practices.
- Build, debug, and enhance complex serverless applications to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, and DevOps engineers, to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
- Implement modern cloud design principles, ensuring all solutions adhere to strict security and automation standards.
- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements in AWS services and Generative AI/LLM technologies.
- Develop cloud-native applications using a suite of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, and S3.
- Create AI-enabled features utilizing LLMs for inference and Agentic AI for complex task automation.
- Leverage Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker for seamless model integration and deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code using Node.js or Python.
- Design event-driven workflows and serverless APIs to support asynchronous processing and system integration.
- Utilize the AWS SDK for programmatic interaction with various cloud services.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation for consistent environment provisioning.
- Contribute to the optimization of CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Ensure comprehensive observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and automated alerting systems.
- Conduct PoCs to experiment with new AWS AI capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience with a heavy focus on AWS development and cloud engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS serverless architecture: Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, and Step Functions.
- Direct experience developing AI/LLM features using Amazon Bedrock or AWS SageMaker.
- Strong programming proficiency in Node.js or Python for backend services.
- Solid understanding of event-driven patterns, microservices, and the AWS SDK.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS networking, compute, security, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Experience with CloudFormation for infrastructure automation and Git for version control.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize performance in high-load environments.
- Ability to work onsite in Princeton, NJ from the first day of the engagement.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
