Job Summary:
Labcorp is seeking an experienced AWS Connect SME (Subject Matter Expert) to join their team for a fully remote contract position. This role is crucial for supporting and enhancing their AWS Connect implementation across call centers. The primary focus will be on managing call flows, optimizing existing setups, and integrating with other systems. Additionally, the SME will provide support for application modernization and other key projects.

Description:
Labcorp has been actively implementing AWS Connect throughout their call centers over the past few years. Currently, a single engineer is responsible for supporting Connect call flows, but this individual is stretched thin with other project responsibilities. To address this, Labcorp is looking to bring on additional expertise to handle routine AWS Connect tasks and provide support for additional application modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS Connect call flows to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement new call flows based on business requirements.
- Integrate AWS Connect with other communication systems such as Cisco and AT&T.
- Enable and manage APIs for AWS Connect to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration with other applications.
- Provide support for application modernization projects, leveraging cloud-native solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing support of AWS Connect solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS Connect and integrated systems.
- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in AWS Connect and related cloud technologies.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Amazon Connect, including setup, optimization, and API integration.
- Strong programming skills in Java, including SpringBoot and Microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating communication platforms with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Cisco and AT&T communication systems.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms or services.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
