Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Digital Dhara is looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role requires a strong focus on AWS services and data pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.
  • Implement robust data ingestion frameworks from diverse sources including APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data pipelines and storage solutions.
  • Build and optimize data lakes and data warehouses leveraging Amazon S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lake Formation.
  • Collaborate effectively with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and accurate datasets.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and recommend improvements to existing data architectures and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with core AWS cloud services: S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, SNS, SQS.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data manipulation and pipeline development.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning techniques for large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with security best practices in the cloud, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Must have 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must provide a LinkedIn URL, current location, and visa status with the application.
  • Only AWS profiles will be considered; no multi-cloud profiles.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
