About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Amazon Connect and CI/CD pipelines. This role is crucial in defining and implementing the target operating model for our Amazon Connect services, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the target operating model for Amazon Connect CI/CD.
- Refine repository structure for optimal CI/CD pipeline stages.
- Validate CI/CD pipeline stages, including Deploy (Dependencies, Connect Artifacts).
- Run post-deployment automated testing to ensure quality and stability.
- Assert promotion governance to maintain control over deployments.
- Define and implement a comprehensive rollback strategy.
- Define the security and access model for the AWS environment.
- Enforce drift detection and auditability to maintain compliance and security.
- Provide all required documentation for processes and configurations.
- Design and implement Amazon Connect v3 voicemail flows, including after-hours, no-agent-available handling, secure storage, and notification/reporting integration.
- Implement claims-based intelligent call routing using DynamoDB, enabling dynamic queue selection and business rules driven by claim attributes and metadata.
- Configure and optimize Amazon Connect routing profiles, mapped from existing RingCentral roles, queues, and skill structures to ensure functional parity and improved efficiency.
- Implement and validate Direct Extension Dialing (DED), including user/extension mapping, security controls, repeatable configuration processes, and operational documentation.
- Conduct a current-state Amazon Connect review and provide best-practice guidance, covering contact flows, dashboards, reporting, governance, and a phased roadmap for business enablement and future capability enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer.
- Must have experience with Amazon Connect.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
- Experience with defining operating models and refining repository structures.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing voicemail flows and intelligent call routing.
- Experience with DynamoDB for claims-based routing.
- Familiarity with RingCentral and skill structures.
- Experience with Direct Extension Dialing (DED) implementation and validation.
- Ability to conduct current-state reviews and provide strategic guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
