Role Overview: Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (AI/ML Specialization)
As we progress into 2026, the convergence of cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence has become the defining frontier for enterprise technology. This position is designed for a high-caliber AWS DevOps Engineer who possesses a deep specialization in MLOps and AI infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining the sophisticated environments required to support large-scale AI agents and machine learning models. This is an onsite role based in New York City, requiring a professional who can collaborate directly with data science and engineering teams to streamline the lifecycle of intelligent applications.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Architect and manage robust AWS environments utilizing EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, and Lambda to ensure 99.99% availability and top-tier security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to automate the provisioning of complex multi-AZ architectures and networking components like VPCs, subnets, and NACLs.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for AI/ML workflows, integrating Jenkins and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) to deploy autonomous agents and scalable models into production.
- Build and maintain high-performance data processing pipelines using AWS managed services and Python/PySpark, ensuring efficient ETL/ELT patterns for massive datasets.
- Leverage advanced AWS AI/ML services including Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, and vector databases like OpenSearch to support generative AI and NLP initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face within a production-grade DevOps framework.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $180,000 – $240,000 per year (Estimated)
