Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Security Architect to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions within the AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, cloud security architecture, and hands-on experience with various AWS security services and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architectures for AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud-based systems.
- Implement and manage AWS security services such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, and network security controls.
- Architect and implement Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Oversee encryption strategies for data at rest and in transit.
- Integrate SIEM/SOAR solutions for threat detection and response.
- Utilize CSPM, CIEM, and CWPP tools for security posture management.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for secure deployments.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, SOC2, and PCI DSS.
- Provide expertise in Kubernetes/EKS security and container runtime protection.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- 3+ years of experience specifically in cloud security architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Deep understanding of AWS security services (e.g., IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, VPC security).
- Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, IAM, network security, and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR, CSPM, CIEM, and CWPP tools.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD security integration.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes/EKS security and container security best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
