Position Summary
Sira Consulting Inc is looking for an experienced Azure AI/ML Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This role is designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between data science and production-grade software engineering. You will be responsible for building cutting-edge AI solutions, focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration within the Azure ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and implement RAG-based systems using advanced embeddings, vector search, and LLMs to solve complex business problems.
- Develop and maintain RAG pipelines, ensuring high-quality data retrieval and generation accuracy.
- Utilize Azure AI Search and other Vector Databases to build scalable, embedding-based search solutions.
- Orchestrate multi-agent workflows and tool-using applications using Semantic Kernel, AI Foundry, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Design and deploy secure, scalable REST APIs and microservices to support AI-driven application frontends.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate high-level business requirements into technical AI architectures.
- Optimize AI solutions for cost, performance, observability, and data privacy.
- Manage the deployment of AI applications on Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI models and application code to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
Technical Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C#, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or Anthropic LLMs.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and Azure services.
- Experience with ASP.NET 4.5, Microservices, and Azure DevOps.
- Practical knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with vector search techniques and semantic search frameworks.
Soft Skills and Education
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve ambiguous problems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to staying updated with the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
